JOHN COWLING

Meet John, a devoted family man, dynamic leader, and passionate advocate for community service. For the past nineteen years, John and his wife, Courtney, have modeled love and commitment, raising their three children, Jacob, Caleb, and Bethany.

As the Ministry Director at Rolling Hills Ministries for the last decade, John wears many hats with grace and determination. Leading the charge in the Disaster Relief, Compassion International, and Recreational Ministries, he is a driving force behind positive change and support within the community.

John's impact extends beyond his local sphere as an Executive Director on the John Maxwell Leadership Team. Through teaching and coaching, he imparts invaluable leadership principles, consistently adding value to the lives of those around him.

John's academic journey led him through Arkadelphia High School, Louisiana Tech University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His diverse background in ministry includes serving churches in Arkansas and Louisiana before settling in Ruston, LA, with his family in 2015.

Beyond his professional pursuits, John finds joy in speaking engagements, sports, and the great outdoors. A true adventurer at heart, he, along with his family, embraces the freedom of camping in their fifth wheel whenever the opportunity arises.
